The person listed a 1969 nova for sale on Marketplace for $24,500. When contacted he sent me approx. 30 pictures of the vehicle along with one showing the car running. When I contacted him (Robert Ruch) late on July 31st we negotiate a sale price of $22,500. I asked him to consider the car sold and I would pay him when I arrived on Wednesday Aug. 2nd and he said ok. Later he recontacted me and said that he would need 1/3 down to hold the car for me and I would need to wire him the money so that no one would come along and buy it prior to me getting there. Meanwhile I was able to contact Willie Johnson, a local who's name was listed as a salesman from there, who tipped me off that this guy was trying to scam me out of money.
