I was contacted about a job I applied for however I had no recollection of the name of the business or ever applying for this position. I looked up the job description and it matched one in particular but under a completely different name. The email stated they were interested in my application and would like to book a phone call interview. When this person eventually called, he talked about the company how they were based in the states and they're also based in Edinburgh, Scottland. The 'interview', was extremely brief and asked me two questions before stating they liked me. He then told me I would have to go through a security check and they give in my bank details to be added to the payroll.

So I received this email asking for proof of identity from driving licence, but at this point, I was sure now this was some sort of scam or fraud. I began to do my own research and found people listed on the website were fake along with fake pictures. Company addresses were also not listed. I emailed the suspect straight away with all the details I found making them aware I knew what they were.
