I work for Cornerstone Mortgage and we have had a client inform us that they've received calls from this number informing them that they've been "approved for a loan". The client called us in concern wondering how they were approved without first giving us written or verbal consent to proceed with our approval process.

We got the number called, spoke with someone who repeatedly hung up on us. Luckily, we were able to explain the situation to our client and save business but we could easily see how others could be wary of proceeding.
