I received a fax that requested I contact this organization and give him permission to add my name to an insurance policy for an unclaimed "Payable on Death" (POD) savings monetary deposit in the sum of $10,523,000. The letter states I share the same last name as the policy holder and no one has come forward to claim the money he would like to split the money 45% for him and 45% for me and 10% must go to charitable organizations.

He requested that I provide a phone number so that he can contact me. He sent the fax to my work fax number. He also requested that I cc my email to a g-mail account in his name.
