I'm looking for a better job so I have been applying to a large number of positions. I received a message saying that I had been accepted as a staff assessment officer. They said it was in response to an advertisement and a link to the add was provided. I did some research and found that this was a real company and there have been no scams involving them. They said I would be doing an assessment of businesses as a sort of secret shopper. At this point they had not asked for any information that was not already on my resume. They couriered me a package. While I was waiting for it I called the contact person who was listed as Diego Messenger. On the surface their answers appeared good but, I was getting a little suspicious. They said everything would be in the package. When I got the package it only included three pages of material and a large cheque. When I called to confirm some details my suspicions were confirmed. I they were much more worked about me cashing this cheque then what I would be doing. They also did not have pre-arranged locations for me to go to. This went against everything they said before. I took the package to the police devision and they confirmed it was a scam. Then I also informed the bank named on the cheque. I did not loose any money but, it I had cashed that cheque I'm sure I would have.
