I ordered a "Bulky Bean" bean bag bed off of their site for $59 on March 5th, 2022. After a week with no shipping notification, I attempted to call their customer support line. The customer support line is just a voice message telling you to email them, so I did. I asked about the status of my order on March 12, 2022. They responded the next day that they were on backlog because they went viral on Tik Tok. They said they would send me a notice when it shipped.

I waited again until March 23rd - 10 days later. I emailed again, this time to ask that they cancel and refund the order. They replied that my order would be shipped out after the weekend (so March 28th). I said that was fine, and that I would wait. They message again, saying they were going to send me another "Bulky Bean" at no extra charge, restating that they would ship these bean bag beds within the next 3-5 business days.

April 1st, I still have no shipping notification, so I email them to check again. I was told it would ship out after the weekend (again), so the new shipping date would be April 4th. I wait until April 5th and email again. I'm told that they can refund me or ship it out "in the upcoming days." I responded that if they shipped out today, then that would be fine, but if not, then I wanted the order refunded. I was told at this point that they would ship my order Monday, again. So now the shipping date is April 11th.

April 13th, I email again after no more updates. I asked if it was shipped, or if they refunded it. They responded that there was a mix-up at the post office, so that they would be shipping it out on Monday, yet again. (Shipping date now April 18th). At this point I told them that I wanted to cancel the order and have it refunded.

The next day, I received an email from Julie, the supposed store owner who re-explained why my order hadn't shipped, thanked me for my patience, then said to let her know if I wanted to cancel the order (although that is what my previous email had already stated).

I respond, again, that I would like my order cancelled and refunded. I'm told that to confirm my cancellation, I would need to send them my order number. (The order number is the subject line of this email thread, and is also in the first message). Although it seems redundant, I supply the order number.

Four days later, on April 20th, I have heard nothing else from them. I emailed again to check on the status of the refund. It's now April 25th, and there is still no answer. I'm having to contest the charge with my bank and cancel my credit card in case they attempted to run other charges. I also noticed that they are regularly changing their business name (My Lazy Bean, among others).

In other words, this is 100% a scam.
