Budweiser advertisement Reports & Reviews (4)

Couple weeks ago my sister got a txt with this link for a Budweiser campaign to wrap your vehicle for 3 month up to a year for $650.00 a week if approved. We both said it most likely was a scam just the pure fact I’ve never heard of them reaching out to anyone in any manner and I live right down the road basically from Anheuser Busch and I’ve never seen anything or the sort. Grammar, punctuation, and misspellings don’t matter these days just about everything I read these days from everywhere I turn with 100% legit companies have all those issues, like they did away with copy editors. But thought I’d give it a go an see where it led us. We both received emails a week ago saying our vehicles was approved (we signed up separately) and we would be receiving checks etc. an how we need to deposit them then transfer to the vehicle wrapping company after funds was available and we contacted to inform them. Today I received both me an my sisters checks each for $3,750.00 with now multiple names from an Thomas Brown, a Kevin Drake, Cesar and I believe a Chris to contact. The USPS envelope the checks and letter was sent to had a WAIVER OF SIGNATURE REQUEST, which I knew was something no reputable or legitimate company would ever do esp request it not to be signed for. The checks and envelope was sent from Florida, also there is a WiX app they wanted us to download which neither of us never did. There was never any contact information which a legit campaign would have so you could speak with a real person, the entire process of this also isn’t how these campaigns work.

I was first approached for a job offer doing some advertisement. I was told that if I had a car or truck to text this number and ask about the job opportunity. Once I texted them the scammer responded with all of the information needed to complete the scam. As a broke naive college kid I followed along, after a while I assumed I was being screwed over but thought "what the heck" and went through with it. I received two checks for 1,950 to shrink wrap my car. I took the first check to walmart to cash it, it was denied, once deposited into my account it was flagged for fraud, one account is still frozen and the other is in the negative due to this scam.
