We were notified by a customer that Budget Containers Sales sent them an invoice to purchase a shipping container. That invoice listed our company's business address as their business address. The invoice also referenced our industry's association (the NPSA) as a further means of legitimizing themselves. They have two websites, both of which seem legitimate - https://www.budgetcontainersales.com/ and https://budget-containersales.com/ On the hyphenated web address, they actually reference the ScamPulse.com in the footer of their website. I cannot find them anywhere on the ScamPulse.com site as an accredited business. I also tried to pull a credit report via our company's Experian account and their name/address provided on their site do not come up. They also have a FB page titled New/Used Storage Container For Sale. I actually reached out to them via FB messenger and requested a quote. I provided some details and they sent a quote referencing my company's business address. We weren't actually scammed, but they are definitely using our industry to misrepresent who they are and scam unsuspecting customers.
