Bud Light Imposter Reports & Reviews (8)

I recently applied to have my car decaled as an advertisement for bud light, and I received a priority mail envelope on 7-19-21. In this letter with a check and instructions that I received has become very suspicious. I received a priority mail envelope with a check for $2560.11 and an Important Notice letter included, The letter stated that I was to contact Mr. Michael Coleman at this phone number, 805-953-7956, to verify the check. Also that I was supposed to give my full name, check amount and check number so that the deposit could be verified. After I deposited the check I was told to send $2000.00 dollars from this check to a person named Manav Malhotra at 10 Dunston Lane, Robbinsville, NJ 08691. Then I was supposed to keep the leftover $500.00 dollars and I would be getting an additional $500.00 dollars per week for the decal advertisement on my vehicle. At first I was supposed to send the $2000.00 by an app named zelle pay, but that didn't work, so then I was supposed to buy 4 $500.00 dollar American Express gift cards and mail those, but that didn't work either. Finally I was asked to send 2 $1000.00 dollar money orders and I began to think this is suspicious activity. As of now I'm expected to send this $2000.00 dollars by money order today but I'm not thinking this is legitimate business.

I received a priority mail envelope with a check for $2,550.00 wanting me to deposit it. Then take a picture of the deposit. This was for a Bud Light auto wrap advertisement. My first instinct was to call the ScamPulse.com for information on this. They took the information and told me what I already knew , that this was a scam. I hope this will help more and more people to understand, if you are unsure please call the ScamPulse.com they are there to help you.

Got offered $1000 a week to drive around with Bud light decal on my truck. Signed up on an official looking website started texting instead of emailing. Received an official looking check to deposit. Was immediately hounded as to when I was going to deposit the check. No info as to who or when the truck would be wrapped. Red warning lights started sounding when the fed ex address was different from the address on the check. And the neither identified Bud light or even addressed as it.

Consumer reached out via phone to offer car wrap opportunity with an amount to earn money. The scammer sent a fraudulent check and the check was deposited, but the check was bounced. In order to receive the amount, the consumer had to purchase $2000 worth of gift cards and provided those to the scammer. The scammer additionally requested an additional $500 for materials for the car wrap, but consumer was not able to get that until after visiting the bank after the weekend, which is when they discovered that the check was fraudulent.

And to send a snapshot of the deposit receipt thru email or text message so that they can "quote" have it across to a financial institution. "Unquote".. so the next day I have another packet with the same thing, same check, same check number. Distinguished concerts int. LLC was the issuer and the bank was at jp morgan Chase N.A.

Dear Applicant,

How are you this Morning, below is a breakdown of who we are and the service that we need you to carry out.

We need reliable people who drive and use their vehicle daily, this is an advertising company and what we are trying to put out there is our brand Budlight Beer.

The concept is to help us advertise the new brand as you drive your vehicle and get paid for doing that.

We are located in Inglewood California , Illinois Chicago , Houston Texas, Ontario Canada , BC Canada , we also have agents in every state in North America to ease our job, below is a little break down of all you might want to know , if you need any other information please do not hesitate to ask.

What is a car wrap anyway?

A. A wrap is a large vinyl graphic or decal. It is applied directly over the original paint of the vehicle. The application of the wrap allows you to change the vehicles appearance in a very short period of time and in turn allows you to remove the wrap, returning the vehicle back to its original condition if necessary.

What’s involved in a vehicle wrap?

A. Vehicle wraps, including bus wraps and fleet wraps, are comprised of three phases. The first is the design phase which includes getting accurate measurements for the vehicle and actual design of the graphics to be applied. The second is the production phase where the graphic is printed and then laminated to protect the vinyl from abrasions and UV rays that can cause graphics to fade over time. The third phase is installation where the vinyl is actually applied to your vehicle. In some cases there may even be a fourth phase, the removal of graphics if requested.

What’s the difference between a partial and full wrap?

A. Anything less than a full wrap is normally called a “partial wrap”. A half partial wrap normally includes the entire rear of the vehicle and halfway up the vehicle, and includes a hood logo. A three-quarters partial wrap normally includes the entire rear of the vehicle and most of the way up the vehicle, and includes a hood logo. Typically, a full wrap includes the entire surface of the vehicle. -No roof, roof wrapping is additional.

Will a vehicle wrap damage my paint?

A. No. In most cases vehicle wraps will not damage factory paint jobs. Wraps do not stick to rust. If your vehicle has chipping paint a wrap may pull the chipping paint when removed.

Do I have to wash my vehicle before installation?

A. Yes. All vehicles have to be free of dust, mud, wax, oil, armor-all type products, and other agents that may prevent the vinyl from adhering to the vehicle surface during the installation process.

How long will it take to wrap my vehicle?

A. In general, we can wrap a van or car in one day.

Can you wrap a leased vehicle?

A. You must always obtain permission to wrap a leased or rented vehicle. However, in general, most leased or rented vehicles have factory paint jobs with excellent paint quality. Vinyl applied over factory paint is best because vinyl can be removed easier without damage or “paint peel.” Leased vehicles are often wrapped throughout the country without incident or damage.

Can you easily remove vinyl graphics used for wraps?

A. Yes.

Can I see through vinyl on the windows?

A. You can see through window graphics that are printed on perforated window film. Window pref vinyl is perforated with very small holes that allow you to see out. From inside the vehicle, visibility is similar to regular window tint. From the outside, the graphic is visible.

What is my warranty?

A. We will replace any panels that are defective at no charge. If you get into an accident etc. we can replace any panels, but you or your insurance company will have to pay for it. We cannot warranty wraps on small curved channels, wraps on plastic, silicone, rubber areas or on chrome as the material is not meant for these surfaces. We stand behind all of our work so if there are any issues we will give you our full attention.

What does the company get out of this type of ads strategy, Lots of exposure and awareness? The auto wraps tend to be colorful and eye-catching and attract lots of attention. Plus, it's a form of advertising with a captive audience, meaning people who are stuck in traffic and can't avoid seeing the wrapped car alongside them. This program will last for 6 months and the minimum period you can participate is 3 months.

You will be compensated with $300 (Three hundred dollars per Week), which is essentially a "rental" payment for letting us use the space. Budlight shall provide experts that would handle the advert placing on your car. Your payment checks will be sent directly to the house address you will provide now amount to $300 (Three hundred dollars) for one week reward upfront for accepting to carry this advert on your car and other payments will also come in the same form and delivered at your house address monthly amount to $1200, We don't do full body wrap but partial wrap.
