I received a text message from a number with a whole bunch of other people asking if i wanted to make some extra cash by having them wrap my car with a small decal texted back sure...then was asked to verify my address and name which i did, then i received a check via fed ex for 2773.85 today with some instructions, that said to deposit the check in the bank and then i would send a copy of the depost slip to [email protected] but make sure to mark out any sensitive information on the deposit slip like my account information....the check was from a college in Washington but the person i have been texting is in Texas

They told me it was for advertising and the initial check would be for the decal specialist and 500 of it was for me. Then I would get 500 weekly for advertising. I deposited the check, and it was a check from a closed account. It got returned and I lost 12 dollars as a result.
