I received an email 2 May 2023 demanding that I pay an auto renewal fee of $479.99 for the next subscription for a 5 year Security Firewall they claimed that I had purchased. They said to cancel the contract would require a cancellation fee of $399.99 or they would threaten legal action. I never heard of BubblePC before receiving this scam and I never had a Security Firewall contract with any one. They threatened legal action if I did not pay up. They keep sending me emails threatening court proceedings. They claim that the card on file has been declined and they demand I give them a new one. My lawyer believes they are a scam because the wording in the emails seems to be off. When I hunted down their phone number at *************** it said the phone belonged to a *** ******** in Tucson AZ rather than the name "Karen Johnson" on the email. A second search on **************** on that same phone number (888 543 2929) came up with a ********* **** ******** for that phone number. My lawyer thinks this is a scam because the English is off, they have only one phone number for several departments. I am certain that I am being scammed.
