Email was sent by a city of Essex, Massachusetts email for a remote position in CA. The email instructs to use signal app to reach out to "Hiring Manager" for the interview.

Received an email to interview. Checked the contents versus reports in ScamPulse.com and found the same verbiage only different sender and company name. My email states:

Dear Applicant,

We have received and reviewed your resume for the Data Entry Operator Job Position at the firm Sunn Project Inc, We want to discuss the position further, To proceed further please follow the instructions below, The hourly pay for this position is $23.95 per hour

INTERVIEW INSTRUCTION

The interview is via instant messaging on signal, You can be download the app on your phone from your Google Play/App store , Send a request or message to your Hiring Manager, Mrs. Elizabeth via her number ( 720-712-0831 ) on the app to schedule an interview with her. Just copy and paste her number in the search bar and then send a message or a request.

I believe another user described the exact experience I had. In my conversation with the "hiring manager ", I was asked to pay a deposit for the equipment needed for doing my job.
