I was sent a check for 5,525 dollars and instructions to do my first mystery shopper task and not thinking anything about it I went and did what I was instructed to do and 2 weeks later found out that the check was counterfeit and needless to say DEAN HENDERSON has never been heard from again. I was just trying to do work from home jobs so I can stay at home with my sick husband so never even thought about this being a scam I did some research and found out that Dean Henderson has been doin this for some time. He needs to be caught. I know I will probably never het my money back, but he has totally screwed my family.

A person. Named Dean Henderson sent me a text message saying I had been selected to fulfill an assignment at 2 different local stores. He asked if all my information was correct and asked if I was ready to take the assignment. He said that the funds to use would be sent to my home via fedex along with my $500 check for completing the assignment.

Mr so called Dean is still up to no good. I heard him. Once this person read the hex that goes along with the pics he will most definitely think twice. I didn't post the chant. It's for his ? only. Sending light, love and protective energy to all that have been harassed. ????‍♀️

I had received a text about being a secret shopper and only contact has been by text and I was also asked for my banks name which I did not give and it’s 2:20am and Dean Henderson has been sending text all night I had to turn my ringer off. No professional legit company will text you at 2:20am and only communicate by text. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and also talked to my cousin who is a detective in the police department so they’ll definitely be looked into. What if they come across a person who doesn’t know any better and they get ripped off or caught in the middle of something bad.

I was approved to be a secret shopper for Brookside Research Consultants Inc. They said they would send me a $1,000 check each week to evaluate employees in certain stores. They said they would send my written instructions, with the $1,000 check, by way of Federal Express. It sounded great until THEY ASKED ME FOR THE NAME OF MY BANK. Why would anyone need my bank name, just for me to deposit their check? If I were to sign the back of their check, to deposit or cash it, I would have to put my account number too, right? Now they have my name, my bank name, and my bank account number. What can they do with that information? DON'T DO IT. IT'S A SCAM!

Everyone is right, I did a lot of checks on this guy/company, you can also go to shopifyinco.wixsite dot Com website to see a sample of what they/he are/is offering.

If you read through the website text, right away you'll see that the Grammer is incorrect. There are other red flags here, but I won't go into them all, just don't fall for it. The old adage goes, if it's too good to be true...

General information: You should never put your account number when you endorse any checks. Always sign the check as usual, then under that write, "for deposit only"

My history? I have a doctorate in cyber security. I track down scammers for a living and put the hurt on them.

I received a text from Dean Henderson of Brookside Research Consultants saying I am being hired to be a secret shopper. I am going to receive $1,000 a week. As soon as I receive the check, they will direct deposit the check but they will my bank info. I said how are you going to direct deposit the check if you mailed the check to me..it has to be one or the other. I also asked for their EIN number and told them I couldn"t find them on the internet...I did NOT give my bank info, and I told them I was going to file a complaint with ScamPulse.com and I have not had any more texts.

I received the same text this evening to Contact Dean Henderson, snd to fill out application to become a secret shopper for walmart and i will receive 1,000. Is this real or fake?

Fake. Don't do it. They asked me for my bank name. THEY DON'T NEED MY BANK NAME for me to deposit their check. When I asked them why they need my bank name, they replied with, "It just your Bank Name you will be getting the check deposited to once you receive it". Shortly after, they texted me this, "For immediate Funds available". Then I asked them, "Whose funds are you checking? Why do you need to know how much funds are available?".
The next text I received from them says, "Message to 6143651454 deleted." RATHER PECULIAR, DON'T YOU THINK? This is the second time I received a text saying that from them. Number 6143651454 is the phone number of the person I am texting with.
If you were to sign the back of their check, to deposit it or cash it, they can easily get your account number off the back of this check. All they have to do is ask their bank for a copy of it. Now they have your name, bank name, and bank account number.
DON'T DO IT, IT'S A SCAM!

I signed up for a secret shopper job online and I was contacted through text telling me about the job and a check was sent to me.
