I went to the website brooks shoes outlet. I saw a pair of sneakers that are hard to find. I put them in the cart. Used PayPal and it instantaneously went to a person called Sandra Huante with an email address of [email protected]. I knew right away I was scammed out of $76. I went to my Facebook support group Hallux Rigidus and found out that others had the same thing happen. The payment went to a person and not a company. I phoned PayPal immediately and they said they couldn’t do anything because the payment went through. Called my bank same response. In the afternoon I called PayPal again and they are refunding my money as I explained again I was scammed and not the only one. I also emailed Brooks shoe company. They are going to do something about that fake site.
