Purchased Brooks sneakers off of an ad that offered 50% off one pair for me and one for my husband. I got totally scammed! They never came ! Went to follow up and realized there was no number just an email and it kept getting returned. And this is why I do not order much on line. I want my purchase in my hands. UGH! Hopefully they did not harvest my credit card numbers.

An ad came up on Facebook for a Brooks Running outlet store that was closing. When I clicked on the "shop now" tab, the website that came up had the Brooks logo and at the bottom of the website the Brooks running copyright. There was also a URL that came up for brooksrunningvip.store. I purchased a pair of shoes and the payment went through Paypal. I received the email confirmation that the order and payment had been received, but when I tried to follow up for delivery time, my emails were not returned. I also realized there was no contact number. When I started comparing this website to the Brooks official website, I realized they had copied everything the same, but used a different URL address.

the site brooksus.com seems to be a fake website promising discounts of 50% on brooks running shoes. However, no other site gives anything close to this discount. Also, the sites history suggests that it was a domain that was held to just mimic other businesses that have the brooks name in it. Until Aug of this year, this site was forwarding to brooksint.com. In 2012, it was a different business site with the brooks name again.

Their payment system doesn't work, but everything up until that works. so, i'm pretty convinced that they are just harvesting people's credit card numbers and other information using this site. They are also advertising on search engines, so they do show up in search results.
