Today I got an alert from my bank that Brooks Brothers posted a charge to my debit card. I had never heard of the company before so I googled them to find they are going bankrupt. I then looked further at my account and saw 4 more charges of $0.00 tried to go through to Amazon, Mastercard, MASTERCARD, and Amazon.com. There is a scammer using these businesses to see if a card is valid/working and then they are making charges to that card. I have contacted my financial institution and started a dispute, but wanted to inform others of this in case they look for the company the same as I did.
