I was contacted by them and was promised a loan of $8000 but was required to send a security deposit because of my bad credit and I sent them $615 and was told I would receive my loan in 2-3 hrs , I waited and never got it , waited till the next morning and still never got it , I called them back to find out why and I was told it was because I didn't send in the "First time lender insurance" ($1230.00) , I told them I wasn't told about this and that I could not come up with that , so she put me on hold to talk to her finance dept and she came back and said they would be able to still give me the loan if I did a Double collateral and if I sent them another $615 they would forgive the insurance and give me the loan upon the double collateral payment , I sent them the other $615 and she again told me I would get my loan in 2-3 hrs , again I waited and again , nothing , the next morning still nothing , I called back and it took me half the day to finally get through to someone and she said she didn't know why I didn't get my loan and she put me on hold to talk to the finance dept again , she came back and said they didn't send me the money because I didn't pay the taxes on the loan and I had to pay 7% taxes which would have been $560 , by now I got mad and said there was no way I could come up with more money , she put me on hold to ask the finance dept if they could add the $560 to the total of my loan or deduct it from my loan but she came back and said they could not do that and I would have to pay it first in order to get my loan , I said no and I want to cancel my loan request and I want my $1300 back , she said she will put it in my file that I cancelled my loan and wish to close my account and will reimburse my money , this was on July 27th and she told me I will get my refund on August 19th , I asked her why so long for a simple refund , she told me they only do refund payouts on that day , so I waited until the week before the 19th and tried calling back to see if I could get my refund earlier , I could not get through , I left voice mails asking them to call me back and they didn't call back , each time I called , no answer , I emailed them several times and got no response , calling all day and everyday up till the 19th I got no answer and no call backs and on the 19th on the morning same thing no answer , no call backs , I called on my lunch break of the 19th and got a message from Primus Canada "your call cannot be completed as dialed , please call Primus Canada customer service" . So their number is now gone and I recently checked their website and it's gone now also .
