I received a call from a phone number in Florida from a company called broken niblick Inc and when I answered the call it said this is Chase payments and we're calling to offer you a better rate on your current credit card. Curious as to why I was receiving this call as I live in Canada not the United States and do not have a credit card through Chase payments or any credit card for that matter, I pressed one to get more information. When I reached someone else on the other end of the line I said "Hi there, I'm just curious as to why I'm receiving this phone call." The person on the other end said "we're calling to offer you better rates on your current credit card" to which I replied "okay well, I don't have a credit card and I'm curious as to why I'm receiving a phone call from a Florida company as I live in Canada," The agents response to me saying I lived in Canada was as follows "Oh s*** I don't talk to people from Canada" And then immediately hung up the line. I tried to call the number back It rang for a couple minutes and then eventually an operator picked up and said your call has been disconnected and it hung up the line.
