I went onto rent.com and requested information on a house to rent which is how they got my e-mail to contact me. Our communication was back and forth and asked to send first month's rent and deposit via paypal or zelle. I have used zelle before with no issues. After I sent the money the legit person of the house contacted me via zillow and said there was a scam on a website. I filed a claim with my bank as soon as they opened, and they are denying the claim and my refund. The scammer has not been in touch with me since. I have never been scammed before and am very upset.
