This person called me claiming to work for the Social Security Administration and associated with the US Marshall investigating a case in which my SSN was "compromised" due to fraud. They proceeded to give me a case number. They then continued to ask me to verify personal information (I. E. The last four of my social, my full name, my banking information, and how much money I have in my accounts). They then told me they are freezing my accounts. When I refused to further the calls and asked to speak to a law enforcement officer, the "agent" then got rude with me, told me to shut up, and hung up the phone. This is fraud and obviously illegal when you are pretending to work for the government and giving out false case numbers.

Gave me a grant conformation# AH245. Said I was chosen from the federal government to receive a 9,700 dollar grant that never had to be paid back. Also asked my marital status and age. Then gave me a number to call to get the sending information. Of course i did not call it but I have received these same phone calls for 2 weeks and they wont take me off there list. The phone number they gave me is (609)837-9783
