My husband and I were looking for a specific breed of cat, and only found two breeders online. We purchased two kittens and the fees from the breeder stared it included shipping. When it came time for shipping and delivery, the shipping company hit us up with a "refundable" crate rental fee of 2300$. My husband and I thought this was reasonable and paid the fee. Then at 5pm that day when our paid for kittens were supposed to already be on their way, they sent us notification that the flight was grounded per the "US Aviation Commission's Rules and Regulations on Pets

Transportation and section 12 sub-paragraph 2" that all pets being transported by air must have insurance and the sum of that insurance was 3550$ again with the promise it was refundable at delivery. This was the only Red Flag that I saw. I immediately told them I was not paying this fee and you can return the cats to the seller to schedule a pick up of our new pets. Now the shipping company states to contact the sender for my refund. Why would they have that info? Red flag number two. The sender is still engaged with communication with me, and you will find another complaint about them from me as well. Their website is www.adorableocicathome.com.
