Mid-April I visited a chat site called KIK and later was asked to change to HangOut. I was communicating with a person who used different names such as Brittany and Jenny Alice. She gave her address as **** ******* Ave, ********* 44113, phone 213-600-****. We exchanged pictures and I have no idea if it was really her. At first she claimed she needed help and some money which she would pay me back. I sent money in the manner of pre-paid gift cards for her. I had to take pictures of the card and then scratch off so she could see the numbers clearly to get the money. Next she asked for more money because she needed it to repair a flat tire. She claimed that she gave the other money I sent to a sick person to save their life. Again she never repaid me. As she thought we were developing a relationship, she again asked for money for someone in the hospital saying they were sick. I had already lost a total of $560 to her and she was upset when I ended our conversations and said I was not sending any more money. Now she threatens me that she is going to post my pictures all over the internet claiming that I tried to rape her. She is trying to blackmail me and I am worried about her threats. She has my personal information. I have filed a report with the police department and I am going to file with the FTC. This is a scam.
