On June 10, 2023 BA 174 flying from JFK to London Heathrow our flight was delayed due to an engine that would not start. BA told us to find a hotel for the night in NY City, keep our receipts, and then call them in the morning to see that status of the flight. In the morning, on June 11, 2023, I went to a website that purported to be a BA website. I called the number was engaged by a routing tree and ended up talking with a Mr. Clifford Bell. I told Mr. Bell that I was calling BA as instructed the night before to see the status of my flight. He informed me that the flight had been cancelled and I would need to buy new tickets for my wife and me. I bought two tickets from Mr. Bell for $7700 to fly to England and on to Italy to meet our family. When my wife and I went to the JFK that night, the agent at the BA ticket counter told me we did not need to buy new tickets, the flight was never cancelled as Mr. Clifford had told us and that we would use our original boarding passes to board the same plane that had since been repaired. We got on the BA flight and flew to Europe. When we returned to the US, I contacted Mr. Bell at Flight Assist, also somehow connected with GTT an "air consolidator." I was told I had paid for a new ticket and would not get my money back. I have spend two months, in good faith, trying to get my money back for two tickets that were fraudulently sold to us, and which we did not need and never used.

I would appreciate any assistance that ScamPulse.com could be to get our money back, and if that is not possible, at least to let ScamPulse.com users know never to use Flight Assist, or trust Mr. Clifford Bell. He is a liar and scam artist.
