My parents reached out to Brisa Legal in desperate need of refinancing their home. They were filled with false hope from the start. At first everyone would answer calls and keep my parents updated with this false hope. Fast forward to when they robbed my parents of $5,000.. guess what the phone calls stopped. Instead of this team calling my parents to follow up, my Dad was constantly calling them for updates. Each time these people would tell my Dad that they were missing paperwork from him. Which was completely false because I would see how my parents would send them the same information time after time. At times they would not even take his calls. They left my parents in a worse place than before. Brisa Legal knew they would not be able to refinance my parents home from the start.. yet they robbed them of $5,000 upfront and gave false hope. My parents had no choice but to sell their home after waiting month after month for these people to fulfill their promise, when they could've just told them from the start that they would not be able to help them. It saddens me thinking of how many other people are going through this. Get your money back! Don't let these people keep your hard earned money. My Dad took these people to court and they obviously did not show up.

My dad was awarded a judgment over a month ago and has had no luck with receiving any sort of payment. He went to court 3 times and each time the judge awarded him the judgment.

This company was suppose to help my parents refinance their home and charged them $5,000 up front. The owner of the company is claiming that the business has been shut down but it is still showing as active on the Secretary of State site. There is no other address that we have as to where we can go and attempt to collect the money. As far as we know, the same employees are working under a different company name in the same address.. different suite number.
