I received a Brinks Prepaid Debit Mastercard in the mail and immediately called them because I never signed up or requested it, yet the card had my name on it with an account number. Upon calling them, the only way I could get a live person (from India or some another foreign country) was to make the selection that I had never received or lost my card. Then I was prompted to enter my SSN to "locate your account." I ignored that and kept hitting "0" till I was finally connected me to an operator who I firmly told I had never requested the card, to close the account and remove my name from their list.
