I was emailed by Justin Elliott from Briggs Law Firm stating I owed the United Personal Loans' over a thousand dollars. He asked that I try to take care of matters then before he took it to court. While stating that he was trying to avoid any extra fees (court costs, interest, etc) for me. In that email he had my full name, a previous address from 5 years ago, and he was 1 number off from having my correct social security number, all listed in this first email. So I was immediately angered from this, I emailed back asking them to explain to me why my personal info was in an email and contact me immediately. As of 8/4/17, he emailed me again saying after many contact attempts that he was taking it to court now and that if I didn't pay what the court orders me to pay then they would have a warrant out for my arrest. So lastly I can say, I have never taken a loan out over $300, and I stay within my city limits so that way I can easily pay them off while I'm running errands in town. This just really upset me and had me worried cause it's not true and I have no idea how to completely squash this nuisance!
