I live in Denver,Colorado and went through drivetime to get a car and they use bridgecrest for the loan company and with that they offer a GAP insurance that they say is through Bridgecrest, in there sale pitch they say that the GAP most important programs is where they will cover the remaining amount after insurance in case of a accident and get you back in a car with 0% down. Well i went for it because it sounded like a great protection plan. Here it is August 2018 my car gets totally wrecked , the insurance covered it and the GAP covered any remaining amount. I went back to drivetime as directed and a supervisor at there Lakewood location tells me that Bridgecrest took the 0% incentive away from the GAP protection plan a year ago and all customers were notified by Bridgecrest. I told him that i never received anything stating such he gave me his card and told me i have to contact bridgecrest and if they notate on my account or email them saying that i can have a car because of the 0% down then he would sell me a car. I called bridgecrest customer relations and they told me that they did offer the program but they took it away in February of 2018 and that they never sent any kind of notification because they didnt have to. She said that it wasnt in my contract as if thats the reason i wasnt notified.
