I have a portfolio online to show my work as a graphic designer. I got two emails. One is from Brian Voigt. It started off like a job offer asking me to create a logo for their business. The "job" was nearing completion when they wanted to send me a rather large cashier's check. $2,450.89 to be exact. I was to deposit it all into my account, let it clear, then subtract my $1,000 payment for the logo and forward the rest of it digitally. I had a slight nagging feeling when asked for my information. My mother confirmed that it was a Fake Check scam. I backed out of the project and blocked them. Not fast enough, because they asked why I was backing out. I made an image file, but I'm unable to upload it.
