We feel so dumb… We really thought that we were paying a deposit to adopt a beautiful schnauzer to add to our family. The person we were communicating with seemed quite real and trustworthy at first. We paid the online deposit to start the process. They actually wanted us to pay in full, but we refused. They finally agreed to accept half down and balance when we received the puppy. Once the payment was complete and our bank account said the money was excepted and received, we expected to move forward. They kept saying they had not received the money and wanted us to take video recording of our online confirmation. They would not accept a picture of it, it had to be video recording of the computer. That’s when we knew it was a scam. We are heartbroken.
