I received a call from Karen Adam's claiming she was calling from Bryan Poe and associates.
Saying I agree to pay and I sign paperwork I never sign anything. I hang up and said have good day. Phone number call from was 470-845-0882

I received a call by a 725-299-1305 then was direct to a Mark Allen working for Bryan Poe and associates. Saying his number was 404- 392-6728 extension 206 Stating he was collecting a payment when I said this was already paid he went said I got scam and I ask for the papers he kept hanging up the call well. I provided
My credit card Info said I couldn't make the payment. But realized it was a scam contact my bank request for a new card.
I knew this was a scam didn't felt right. Why do they refuse to send me the papers for proofs.

My tragedy started with a guy that wouldn't give me his name but said he was from Brain Poe Law Office and was making his last and final call saying they were taking me to court to put a judgement against me. I asked who the debt was for and he wouldn't say. I started crying and got mad. He then transfered me to Alicia which was very nice. She told me the credit card company and said the balance was 1000.00. I told her I didn't have that kind of money. She asked about 751.00 and I said no. She informed me I was in a lot of trouble that my case was being processed. She asked 565.00 and as scared as I was I said yes. Put the money in the bank. She took it out and emailed me a receipt. It said I purchased something for that amount. I called her back and said I've been scammed before and something doesn't feel right. She said I gave you my direct number. Scammers don't do that and in 5-7 days you will get info in the mail regarding the credit card paid in full. Now she said if anyone else calls you about this you give them my number. This didn't sit right with me. I called the bank, stopped the card and reported as fraud. I called the law office and someone answered this is Rachael. Didn't mention the law office at all. I asked if this was Brain Poes office and she said yes so I asked for the number for collections. She gave me a different number. I had someone call to represent me and she asked if there were any collections under my name. Her answer was no. So my fears were right I was scammed. Hopefully the bank can get my money back.

Caller gave her name only as Mercedes from Brian Poe & associates at law attempting to settle a payday loan debt from 7 years ago that I do not remember ever having. She explained that her law office is working with CMS law office to collect the debt. Mercedes refused to send any paperwork information to me regarding this because she said they had tried repeatedly to send it to an address that is 10 years old numerous times and they wouldn’t be mailing any information to me again. She also said she was unable to relay any of the lender information because that was private between the lender and the attorney office. She stated the loan was $775 but pressed me for an offer to settle it. I said $300 and she immediately accepted. I then told her I would not be able to make the payment today and she became angry that I even made an offer. I placed a call to the law office only to get a fax line tone. I placed a call to the phone number for CMS that Mercedes gave me, and the woman who answered did not answer with the company name and when I asked her to verify their business and office location. She stated she didn’t know the physical or mailing address for their office, only stating Georgia when asked where they are in the world. I am unable to find Brian Poe & Associates or CMS on the ScamPulse.com search feature for Georgia. The Brian Poe website shows injury attorney services. After doing this research between calls, I placed one more call back to Mercedes where she became angry that I had call so many times and said they will just process the item…without having collected my current address, email or payment information.
