The website Breville-usa.com poses as e-commerce company having a flash sale of Breville coffee machines, espresso machines, neoespresso machines and juicers. The descriptions and the photos of the products, as well as the original prices are copied from the real Breville website. Even the scammer's website address mimics the real seller. The scammer uses breville-usa.com and the real website is breville.com/us. Scammer's website is very well done and appears to be legit, except, when the prices are too good to be true, they most likely aren't....
The scammer offers huge discount of 80% on the products indicating that the sale is about to end in 10 hours or so. They payment is only accepted via PayPal. Don't rush to hit that "make a payment" button like I did and, before you do, verify that it is going to the legit company name and not some Localhost [email protected] like it did in my case. Luckily, I had a credit card attached to PayPal and I am currently in the process of trying to return lost funds. I hope I will be able to.
Beware of the company that lists Gmail email address for their "customer service" and "shipping" contact. When you try to reach them the email bounce as non existent. There is no contact number, so once he order is placed, there is no way to reach them...Beware of the scammers.
