I got several text messages and a deposit was required on a puppy. We agreed to pick up the puppy in LA and set a date to go there. Two days later the owner said he had to go out of town on business and could not meet us as agreed. He then wanted to ship the puppy but that was not what we agreed on. He then asked for additional funds . We asked to have our deposit refunded and he said it would be done the next day. The next excuse was his Zelle account was held up! A week later still no refund or correspondence! It is a scam!!
