This person was said to be a dachshund dog breeder according to what seemed like a legit online website . Contacted through email and spoke a few times over the phone . While trying to purchase a puppy this said dog owner said everything would be handled with the shipping after the certificate of ownership was sent through email and puppy was paid for . Then , while the puppy was getting ready to ship more and more fees were being added to while the owner was not really in contact specifying anything or even giving us a heads up it was more so if you don’t pay this fee then your puppy will have to stay here and it kept continuing with other demands just to receive the puppy . We asked for a refund several times and the so called dachshund company kept telling us to wait and even gave us times and everything to wait for the arrival of the puppy . When In reality we took off multiple days of work for the arrival of a puppy that never arrived and was supposedly given to the wrong family because of the crate being “mislabeled” . In addition to all of this they could not find this family and we kept trying to get a refund . Now they want us to pay for their lawyer so they can give us only a partial of our money back . They owe us 4K if not more for our money put into this scheme and time we lost off of work .
