After multiple email, texting, and phone discussions with this company (the wife identified herself as Brandi, and the husband Sama Temson), we paid them a $400 deposit to have them ship an English Bulldog puppy to us, with the agreement to pay the remainder when the puppy arrived. Sama stated he took the puppy to their animal shipping company that they "regularly" use, paid all of the registration fees and told us that the shipping company would contact us. The shipping company (Direct Logistic Shipping) contacted us within the hour stating that the puppy was in line for a "final check". Then, after another hour, they emailed us stating the puppy's current crate was not sufficient for travel and that we'd have to pay additional fees for use of a crate. These fees ranged from $400 to $800 and the email stated that "98% of the fees would be returned to us upon the puppy's arrival. We agreed to pay a deposit, but would only do so if we could use our credit card, since we weren't agreeing to sending any more cash. After 4 hours of back and forth emails, calls, and texts, they shipping company and Sama agreed to take our credit card. 12 hours later, they stated they could not confirm that funds were on the credit card and that they would not ship the puppy until they had cash. At that point, we said nevermind, take the puppy back home. Sama started in with a sob story, stating his wife was now in the hospital and that we had placed "unhappiness on the family". After an hour of email, phone calls, and texts, all of the phone numbers have been disconnected.
