I received a phone call saying this was my last chance to receive a brace from Medicare. I asked who initiated the request (because of personal circumstances, a brace might be a possibility). I requested the person's name: Eric and the name of the company: Brace Specialists of Boynton Beach, FL. I probed into how they received the request and asked to check their website. They said they'd have to look up the information and then hung up the phone. I Googled the company name and was warned about scams. The only number is what was on my caller ID - with no area code.
