I applied for a work-from-home job on a job search website. A day later I received an email requesting an interview for the following day. I was told to text "Tracey" with my full name and the provided interview ID number. Tracey immediately texted me back to inform me that the interview would be done via WhatsApp which sounded very strange. The string of messages he/she sent after had some grammatical errors and questionable word choices. I immediately blocked the phone number. I went back to the email and started searching for the company name and address online and couldn't find anything. I also noticed the company email used "hotmail" which I had not noticed before. This scammer now has my full name, address, phone number and other personal information from my resume/application. If I had gone through with the interview, I'm sure the scammer would try to get my social security number or bank information.
