I got an email from what appeared to be a legitimate source to fill out a survey. Upon completing the survey you qualified for one of a number of options of prizes for various amounts of money. I bought air buds for $9.96. After purchasing them the charge appears on the credit card as Puravidaoptons 844-4584104. A couple weeks later my credit card was charged $84.68 under the name boostpowerthrive. I looked up the phone number to call to ask about the charge. They told me that I signed up for a 17 day trial and agreed by giving them my credit card information that I would pay another $84.68. I informed him that I agreed to no such thing and I have not yet even received the air buds so it would be impossible to have a 17 day trial. He told me that the writing is very small but that I agreed to the terms when I paid $9.96 for the air buds. I told him that I did not receive them and I no longer want them. He offered to send me the air buds but refused to refund my money. I informed him that I was going to report the scam and he continued to refuse to refund my money, only offering to send me the air buds. I informed him that I would never pay that much money for air buds. I am filing a dispute with my credit card company (Discover).
