I followed a link on twitter to download a free pdf and it brought me to booksrewards.com. I signed up to pay $1.00 to access the digital library, and upon making my account, I received an email from the-active-hiit.com and youcanbefittoo.com letting me know that I've just made my account and I have a 1 day trial at $1. The business listed on credit card statement was "tahhelp.com" so I went to the website and called the number listed. I spoke with a person named "Amber" and "Joy" although I'm sure it's the same person. I was told they are a 3rd party online payment processing company specializing in health and fitness subscriptions, and they said the company's name was gizmomedia.com ... I asked why they were advertising themselves as a book repository website and mentioned that that seemed illegal and she hung up on me. I called back and asked them to delete my account and refund my charge, which I received email confirmation for. My issue is that this company seems to be getting people to sign up for a $1 trial that lasts 24 hours, and then charge you monthly for a service that you had no intentions of signing up for. Even stranger, after I saw the $1 charge by tahhelp.com on my credit card statement, I got another email saying that my account at "youcanbefittoo.com" was activated, even though I never signed up for that either. So I was charged two $1 charges for a fraudulent fitness subscription service even though all I wanted to do was download a book.
