Total SCAM. Booked a flight they called me back asking for another $1500. I told them no way will I even give them one penny more. Turns out they never charged the credit card so probably how they try and stay legal.

Same exact experience as others have posted. Booked the flight on their website, they sent an email confirming that I had booked. A-hole started out by saying that he "found" a 40% discount for me and could book that but would be about 50% higher price than estimate and that the price I was quoted was an "opening bid".

I told him to cancel everything and he kept insisting that I pay the extra until I told him to cancel again only not so nice this time. He kept insisting until I finally threatened to call the better business bureau. I hung up and then I started to get text messages harassing me to confirm the increased price. I called the credit card company and there were no charges or pending charges.

Total waste of time and now I need to start over.

First of all I never wrote reviews. That being said I guess I should have at least read this companies reviews before purchasing.
I have been flying all my life and never once went through something like this. I’ve talked so many people about what I went through, and every person is appalled this happened to me. This isn’t just about the money for me either. The way this company handles business ruined my opportunity to see my family I haven’t seen in years. For them to meet my son some have never met in person. I’m devastated to say the least.
I received an email, like everyone else, saying tickets weren’t confirmed. But I missed those small words in the email, because what I saw was what looked like my tickets with all my flight information. And even an attachment with what looked like my ticket info. So when I went to put my ticket number into the airlines app I realized it was not actually a ticket number. I called their company and was hung up on 3 times after explaining we were supposed to fly out the next day and didn’t understand why our seats weren’t confirmed when I purchased them. The first person I talked to was extremely rude and kept telling me to “look at my email”. Finally I was connected to another agent. He was nicer, at first. But was very confusing in what he was saying. He kept changing the prices while on the phone. And kept talking about just confirming the flight there with extra money, and the flight home was confirmed and then suddenly would say it was not confirmed. My mother even got on the call with me. She was so frantic to just get me and my family on the plane she was going to just hand over her card number. I kept telling her to slow down first. I wanted the guy to confirm what we would actually pay all together - including getting home, because that kept changing. Finally tells me it would be $500 at least more per person to get back home and i had to call him to book that. I was scared I’d get there and owe more money to get home then we could afford. Basically the end price was twice as much as what was “sold”. He argued with me about refunding a ticket. Saying the airlines can’t cancel or refund - to which I told him this was fraud and they had to refund me because THERE WAS IN ACTUALITY NO REAL TICKET. We called American Airlines after and they confirmed this company is fraud and we never had tickets.
It’s obscene what this company is been allowed to get away with.
I pray people read this BEFORE they make the mistake to purchase like I did.
They ruined something so important to me. If my money is not reimbursed I will be contacting lawyers.
THIS IS FRAUD. They make you believe you have purchased a ticket - which does not exist. That is fraud plainly.
RUN!!! SCAM!

On 6/19/23 at like 7pm I was looking to book flights from BWI to San Jose and then flights from San Jose to Tamarindo. I did the online compare and saw Expedia had the BWI to San Jose flights for 1010.26. I saw $962.34 on Bookingace.com. So I went with the cheapest of course to save some money with the trip arrangements. I booked the Spirit flights through Bookingace.com and then proceeded to book the flights from San Jose to Tamarindo with another site. At 840pm I received a call from and unknown number so I let it go to VM. It was that agency telling me that my flight reservation wasn’t confirmed and the price that I was quoted was wrong. It was a standby price and that Spirit Airline prices had went up. So I needed to call them immediately. I also received a text message, which kind of gave me a red flag about this agency because of the grammar. I called them back and talked to Van Smith who was very pleasant even wished me a happy birthday and said his birthday was June 25. He told me the price had went up slightly, which was 1010.26. I said that’s fine no big deal. He told me he would send me an email, which he did confirming that price plus a $210.65 charge. That $210.65, Van Smith said was to confirm the actual flight booking, which totaled $1220.91. Van Smith then proceeded to say that it would be two separate charges but the actual total is still the same for $1220.91. Van Smith told me all I had to do was agree to the price and everything would be taken care of and booked. This guy kept putting me on hold several different times. I think I was on the phone for 37 mins trying to confirm this flight. Finally, he sent me another email with the actual booking confirmation plus another email for the $100 vouchers ($50 per person) to use for my next trip and that they were valid for one year. The email looked off because it said $80 per person but later in the email said $50 per person equaling $100. When I got off the phone with Van Smith, something alerted my gut that this didn’t seem right. I inquired with my boyfriend about this $210.65 charge and if he noticed a different price when he booked through other sites vs the airline directly. He tried to say maybe it was for their fee for booking for me and he was excited about the $100 voucher to use. So I decided to go through Spirit Airline and Expedia just to see their prices and it came up as $1010.26 which included all the taxes and fees. On Spirit Airline’s website I even picked my seats and the total came up to $1143, which is still less than Bookingace.com. I asked my boyfriend does he think that $210.65 was their charges plus for the assigned seats and he wasn’t sure. We looked up our booking confirmation on Spirit Airlines and sure enough we had the flight but no seats were assigned. Once I got to work, I decided to call Bookingace.com back to ask them about the $210.65. This time I bounced from person to person. I kept calling back and every time I kept getting passed around and put on hold. One time, someone kept being rude and told me he would ignore me until I let him talk, then he proceeded to say I allowed the charges to happen and it was my fault. I told him I would keep calling back until I got answers and he was like “you do that”. I called back and then someone told me I needed to Van Smith to resolve my issues and he was on break and would call me back in 15-20 mins. Twenty mins passed and no call so I called back and this time I was passed to the floor leader who advised me he couldn’t cancel my reservation at this time because he needed to look into the matter. This floor manager told me he needed to wait 24 hrs before doing anything. I kept questioning why he couldn’t cancel my reservation since he was the floor manager and since we are on a recorded line. The floor manager said I had to wait 24 hrs and I said I’m not waiting that long and it needs to be cancelled now. If you look at their cancelation policy it says that they can’t cancel your reservation after 24 hrs. This floor leader was trying to make me wait so they couldn’t cancel anything. He finally transferred me to Van Smith again, which I just kept saying I was so pissed off and just don’t even want to go on the trip and to just cancel my reservation. Van Smith then sent me to customer service, which a lady said she would handle my cancelation. I proceeded to tell her that I was very upset and I didn’t want to go on the trip anymore (lying of course). She started getting mad because I was questioning the charge and that I wanted to cancel the reservation. She then told me she wasn’t going to help me because I wouldn’t let her talk. So I told her go ahead and finish. She tells me that Spirit was going to charge a cancelation fee and how the extra charge was because the booking agency doesn’t do things for free. I was like I don’t care about the cancelation charge as long as I don’t have to deal with their company anymore. I asked what the cancelation fee was and she told me $90 per person. I was like whatever, I’m done with all of this. She also told me that Spirit Airline will hold my money until they take out the cancelation fee. Funny thing because I made her so mad she never sent me a cancelation email. After she pretty much hung up on me after saying she will cancel the flight once Spirit Airline gets back to her, I called Spirit Airline to see about this flight that was booked and about the cancelation fee. No sooner than I called I saw another $210.65 charge posted to my account. As I was on the phone with Spirit Airlines, I explained the situation and the representative told me someone cancelled my reservation and I should receive a full refund. I explained to her what was told to me from the lady at Bookingace.com and she said that was wrong. The Spirit Airline representative told me due to the timing of the cancelation I was owed a full refund. So basically Bookingace.com was not only charging $210.65 for some unknown charge plus trying to keep my $1010.26 for the flight but also charged me another $210.65, which definitely is more than the $180 cancelation fee I was told on the phone. So now the 1010.26 for the airline tickets posted and of course no refund pending and I’m stuck waiting for the 2 $210.65 charges to clear so I can contact my banks fraud department about these fraudulent charges.

Oh when you try to do the contact us form on their website…you fill out all of the information and press send but it doesn’t do anything. I even tried sending emails to support to cancel and it came back with a blank body and just says regards.

We are still on the phone but all of the scam reviews are the same. Booked a flight for a dream vaca, got a great deal. They call and say the flight isn't available and we must pay a cancel fee to cancel. The offshore reps have very good English but they are scam artists. They attempt to wear you out with holds and transfers. TOTAL SCAM

I would give this zero stars if I could. My uncle passed away and I was booking a flight for my elderly father. If I had been thinking more clearly, I would have checked the reviews first for bookingace.com (DBA Explorenuttravels). Immediately after booking (for about $100 less than posted prices), I received an email stating the booking was not yet confirmed and I needed to call their customer support number at 888-581-8070 where they tried to charge a higher price than what I had just booked (same flight was available on American Airlines still w/multiple seats left). It was clearly a scam. I immediately cancelled the reservation and my credit card so it would not be charged. I re-booked directly through AA and started looking at reviews of bookingace.com. Pretty much ALL of them said this is their scam. They charge you one price online and immediately follow up with an email stating you need to call them and then they increase the price. This is their MO. Just Google them. Shameful and disgusting.

I recently booked a flight from Houghton to Chicago via the bookingace platform. I got an email a few moments later saying my booking was NOT confirmed due to "dynamic changes" in flight availability. I didn't think that was really odd. So I went ahead to try calling their support number. It wasn't reachable. So, I sent an email.

A few minutes later, a support staff called me telling me my flight wasn't available. I said I understood. He went on to ask if I could move my flight to the evening of the same day, I said that was alright. He then informed me I would have to pay an additional fee of about $250. I said I would rather not and that he should please process a refund.

And that was where things got really weird. He kept interrupting me and told me flat out that I am not entitled to a refund and I "must choose" another flight option. I told him it wasn't my fault I purchased a service on the website which, suddenly, wasn't available any more and that I insist on a refund. He said it was my fault.

At this point I got incensed!

Not only did he keep rudely interrupting me and telling me to keep quiet and listen to him, he was telling that I was at fault and that I could not get a refund. What? I told him I would begin recording the call and that I would want him to state, for the record, that I will not get a refund for a falsely advertised service and that he should confirm he was obtaining by false pretence and guilty of wire fraud.

At this point he changed the tune and said I hadn't been charged and why was I shouting unnecessarily and that I should confirm by checking my bank balance and that this was, somehow, still my fault.

The entire platform is fraudulent and I 100% do NOT recommend.

Every review I've seen has gone through the same experience I have. Bait and switch. Wants more money. This rep told me they already have my card info and will charge what they want. DO NOT USE THEM!

I booked a trip which was a good deal and included all taxes and fees with no booking charge .I booked the trip and less than an hour later was called to say one leg of the trip was on standby and wasn't available I wanted to cancel the trip and it was like pulling teeth .He said he would sell me the very same trip but would cost 700.00 plus but then worked down to 98.00 more and instructed me to pay the 98 dollars to another business name...Well I did cancel and checked and found the same trip at the same price on bookingace.com 3 hours later...this seller is unscrupulous and a rip off. This person was also not very fluent in English and I could barely understand him... Beware this company is afilliated with explore nut travel llc and both are run from an apartment in Chicago Ill.

This website offered to give a very low price on a flight. I didn’t even enter my payment info and got an email stating that the booking was finished with a confirmation number and everything. I then got a call the next day of them telling me that my return flight was perfectly fine but my flight there was cancelled and would have to change the flight. The price then would increase. I told them actually that worked perfect because all I needed was the return flight. They hung up on me and sent me a email saying the entire booking was cancelled.
