Found listing on Airbnb. On the listing, there was an image attached that requested people to email [email protected] to book otherwise the booking will be cancelled. I went to email and when i returned to the airbnb listing, the listing was gone. I already sent the email so they replied to me stating "Thanks for contacting us. Your dates are available, the rate is $250 per day, also a $500 security deposit is required which will be fully refunded at the check-out date (in case of no damages to the property). Currently, we are having technical difficulties with the Air-bnb calendar, we can't update it as we are renting through different platforms. We decided to use Booking. com as our main platform, you can take advantage of 0 booking fees. If you would like to book our property, I need to know some information about you, such as full name, country, number of guests. I will then send a booking invitation through Booking. com so you can complete the reservation. The cancelation is free prior to 2 days of arrival.

I sent the info and they sent me back the listing through a different site "booking.com". When I visited the listing, I noticed that the photos were weird. I reverse image searched the pictures and it was actually from a penthouse in Cape Town. I am scared because they now know my full name and country.
