I was contacted by text claiming to be through AirBnb. I am a host on that platform, so I assumed it was for affiliation. I kept in contact through Whatsapp, was given a training account. completed 2 sets of 40 tasks. The premise is that I would get $800 USDC after 5 consecutive days. You click hotel listings. commission goes up when more money is accumulated in your wallet .I paid in $200 to keep my account within $100 float. After the 3rd day, I withdrew $300 into my crypto account. 4th day I didn't have to pay anything. The 5th day I was nailed. they gave me my $800, and the costs were exceeding what was in my wallet. I kept in contact with the person who told me about the job. She was very convincing. so I deposited $500 more, and finished my first set of 40 for the day. Midway through my second set I was hit with needing to deposit $2000. The higher the wallet, the higher the float needed, the higher the commission. I stupidly paid the $2000, because these people are very convincing. 35/40 tasks I was hit with needing to deposit $5000. This is where I stopped completely. I keep asking to have my money returned, I keep getting the same response. I will get my money back guaranteed when I deposit the funds. The merchant (hotel owner) refuses to refund my deposit and let me stop the task.
