Scammer posed as the president of the figure skating club in which I'm a member and requested that I buy three American Express or Visa cards and the amount of $500 each. They asked me to open them up take pictures of them with the numbers and send them the numbers and the pictures and then they would send me a check in about a week. I suggested that I could just get the check from them the following day when I saw them for coffee and they did not respond.
