Looked very legit, just like the real website.

Had me put in my credit card, but kept saying declined and to use a different card

About a month and a half ago I was interested in purchasing a Bogg Bag for my upcoming vacation. I googled Bogg Bag and diligently checked for the official website. Once on the site, it was clearly the correct one. There was a sale being offered for 2 bags, which I purchased for $138. The bags arrived and I did not think much of them. After one use, I noticed the “B’s” on the handle had worn off, which I thought strange but did not investigate further. A friend of mine recently ordered two bags using the same sale which she found on her own, not sent to her by me. When her bags arrived, she was instantly aware they are counterfeit. The bags are the same as mine - they do not say Bogg Bag at the bottom, do not have the plastic pouch inside, nor do they have the plastic buttons on the handles. I instantly reached out to the company who responded by telling me they do not sell counterfeit bags and can be of no assistance. In discussing this, I have no found a coworker who had the same issue. When I went on the Bogg Bag website, there was no other website to visit. This was clearly the official site. I feel disappointed that the company is doing nothing to protect their consumers from this counterfeit site or from being rerouted to this counterfeit site when entering the Bogg Bag website. I have now lost $138 since Bogg Bag will do nothing to correct this issue. I have never fallen victim to a counterfeit site prior to this due to being vigilant in how I online shop. I am extremely disappointed in the company’s lack of accepting responsibility in this scam.

I ordered a bogg bag on boggbag.com. The item came from China and had several stops on the way to my address. When I received the bag I initially felt as though the bag was fake. The packaging was taped like crazy & the bag was missing logos. I did some research- the bag is a knock off, fake. I reached out to the email address ([email protected]) & never heard back. I then reached out to another address ([email protected]), who then told me the order number was with a scam site. I couldn't believe this, as I ordered directly from the website she provided. I'm not sure if when I went to purchase the bag, it was somehow redirected to a scam, but nonetheless something isn't right.

I visited the Bogg Bag website to purchase product for a gift. I explored their site looking for the right option. They were highlighting a sale which offered a discount to purchase two bags. I proceeded to buy the promotion. After the purchase, the order email seemed strange and the link back to the site did not work. At no point during the purchase did I think I was shopping anywhere but the official Bogg Bag site. When the bags arrived they were clearly fake. They did not say Bogg on the bottom, had different buttons affixing the straps, did not have the inside pouches and contained unwanted decorations for the bag. I contacted customer service and they were of no help. They informed me that this was a scam and there was nothing I or they could do except dispute it through Paypal (which I did not use for the purchase). I discussed this with my friend who also realized she fell victim. Additionally, a co-worker discovered the same when I was discussing the issue. I really feel that the company is aware this is a widespread issue and is not doing anything to protect their customers. I am a highly educated consumer, and would have realized if I was not shopping at the correct site, as I do quite a bit of online shopping. The company's lack of concern about the situation is what prompted me to contact the Better Business Bureau. Consumers who choose to shop at Boggbag.com are taking a risk. I am out $138 and this will continue to happen.
