I applied for a job through Career Builders. I thought I had submitted my Resume with a company in the US. I received an e-mail from [email protected] stating that my CV Profile was received through the human resources office of BMD Group Company. I had 2 Task assignments to complete. Upon completion of these task, I was informed through SKYPE from Mrs. Joyce Jackson I was hired & BMD Construction was out of Australia. They were a multi-million dollar company. I went to the company website and they do exist. But apparently they are not affiliated with them. I was told that I would be receiving a check via UPS and inform Mrs. Jackson through SKYPE when I received it. Included in the check was a sign on bonus and I was to deposit the check and purchase all needed material. I was told I would receive a free lap top, since the company had roughly about 5 different construction companies they dealt with. I just received the check for $5,777.90. I immediately realized this check said nothing about BMD Construction on it. It had Central Distributors, INC & Eagle Bank & Trust Co. both out of Little Rock, Arkansas. I contacted both of them and they both informed me that the check was fraudulent. I never deposited the check in my bank account. I certainly hope this will help others.
