We were attempting to buy a dog for my son. He showed pictures of a litter of puppies that caught our attention. He requested a deposit for first choice. We sent the money and started asking for picture of the dog. He sent several pictures of different dogs than the one we chose. Then he started to ignore us and then said he and his wife recided not to sell us a dog but will not refund our money. This is obviously a scam.

Ashlee White owner of Blue Water Boston Terriers in Port Huron, MI sold me a six month old female pedigree Boston Terrier puppy for $1500, which he has never sent me the paperwork for me to register the puppy despite numerous requests since last July. He has given excuses about the AKC paperwork needing correction or something, and then has completely ignored my texts and emails in regards to getting what I need to register the dog. It is over half a year since we picked up the dog, who is now over a year old, and who I cannot register. Therefore, I paid full price for an AKC Boston Terrier, who without her AKC papers, is no more than a mutt. Ashlee White even raised the initial price of $1200 to $1500 after our initial contact, because his wife insisted he sell the six month old puppy for full price.

The puppy had severe issues with worms, due to incomplete de-worming treatments, and coccidia, a very difficult gastrointestinal parasite that is highly contagious. While breeders will say coccidia is caused by the stress of a puppy relocating, all medical treatments require frequent cleaning with hydrogen peroxide wherever the dog relieves itself, corralling that area, and limiting contact with other pets, along with veterinarian prescribed medical attention and medicines. Coccidia parasites can live outdoors for three years through cold winters. and as inadequate cleaning is an issue, this indicates that the Blue Water kennels are likely infected. Ashlee White made the comment that they were thinking of relocating, which makes me think he is aware of the infestation. Remediation of a breeder's kennel is cited as being time consuming and costly. The puppy I got had well over a thousand dollars of treatment for the worms and coccidia over a ten week period. It was life threatening. Breeders of course do not take responsibility for anything other than genetic defects.
