I applied on indeed.com for a data verification specialist position. This morning I received an email from Willie Moore stating I needed to contact Amy Schauler to set up an interview. After answering a few questions including my name and address I was offered the position. What I found odd was that they stated they would send me a check for the equipment I would need to perform the job. I thought this was odd so I contacted the number for the company (from Google) and explained why I was calling and if they had anyone at their company with those names. The person I spoke to then said she believed it was a scam. When googling the number provided I relieved this is happening under different company names and “interviewer names”. Beware!!!
