I applied for the job on indeed as a Data Entry Agent and received an email the next morning instructing me to download the Signal App and schedule an interview there with a Corey Turman.

The first red flag was this interview process as I have never heard such a thing. ThanKfully my gut instincts were telling me that something isn't right here. So I decided to google the number (908) 366-0977, which was the number I was supposed to add on Signal, pertaining to the "Hiring Manager Corey Turman".

I attached a picture of what the email looks like that came from the address [email protected].

The scammers had posted a position on indeed.com. I had applied to the position and included my resume. They contacted me through email and directed me to download the Signal app. They insisted that because they are cutting edge company they use new technology for their interview process. They proceeded to pretend to interview me over the Signal app via text message. And finally they asked for my bank details. Fortunately I knew enough to not provide bank details and figured out it was a scam.

Thank you so much for reporting this! I never made it to the interview process (Thank GOD) as I had a weary feeling I received the email asking me to download Signal App.
