I had a guy come to my door at 6pm on 3/28/16 claiming to be with PG&E. He said my area was supposed to be receiving discount on the PG&E bill if I had the G1 plan, which i do. Still claiming to be with PG&E he said he needed to make a phone call to the company to make sure I get signed up for the discounts on my gas bill due to my location. He said he need my PG&E account number to give to the phone representative. I gave it to him. I verbally confirmed my name and phone number and was given a confirmation number. I did not sign anything. Right before he walked away, he handed me a flyer stating he was with "Blue Spruce Energy". I found it strange that he never, not even one time, stated he was with a third party. I then did some research and discovered it was a scam. The way he presented himself as being with PG&E is fraudulent.
