This is not a Scam, this is clearly a Fraud
The claim would also engage section 465(1)(c) of CC i.e. Conspiracy Charge, as at least two persons involved in this crime (Briden Richards and Balbawa Babes).
If however three or more persons are involved in or outside Canada, then this would be considered as Criminal Organization, section 467.1(1)(a).
Commission of offence for criminal organization:
467.12 (1) Every person who commits an indictable offence under this or any other Act of Parliament for the benefit of, at the direction of, or in association with, a criminal organization is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years.
Section 467.13(1) and (2) also may well be applied, which states: Every person who is one of the persons who constitute a criminal organization and who knowingly instructs, directly or indirectly, any person to commit an offence under this or any other Act of Parliament for the benefit of, at the direction of, or in association with, the criminal organization is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for life.
Every person who, for the purpose of enhancing the ability of a criminal organization to facilitate or commit an indictable offence under this or any other Act of Parliament, knowingly, by act or omission, participates in or contributes to any activity of the criminal organization is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than five years s. 467.11 (1)(a).
Sentences (if convicted) to be served consecutively
467.14 A sentence imposed on a person for an offence under section 467.11, 467.111, 467.12 or 467.13 shall be served consecutively to any other punishment imposed on the person for an offence arising out of the same event or series of events and to any other sentence to which the person is subject at the time the sentence is imposed on the person for an offence under any of those sections.
Those who ready to participate shall collect, prepare and keep all available evidence i.e. all written correspondence, copies of transfers, receipts, e.t.c.
We also should pursue a Civil Claim by way of Action for damages, to obtain all available remedies and enforce them to the full extent of the Law.

Containers", but Containers4U was great to deal with (in my case) a couple of years ago. They only requested payment once the container was in the yard and I personally inspected it (not sure if they still have this policy). I don't like the idea of paying for a container before seeing it or before it arrives in the yard. Blue ribbon is currently asking me for full payment site unseen... That's a red flag in my books.
