I purchased two Miracle Scrapers as Christmas gifts. The vendor signed me up for a "free trial" of roadside assistance without my knowledge and against my wishes. When the "free trial" expired in January, I started receiving $9.95 per month charges on my credit card. When questioned, my credit card provider gave me the name (BLS*Miracle Scraper), location (Florida), and phone number (877.681.6464) for this company. When I called the number, a woman identified herself as customer service for VIP Auto Discount, a provider of roadside assistance. This is a service I did not request, and I have no way to access it if I ever needed it.
